Post-Tsunami 2004, Simeulue (Sumatra, Indonesia)

After 26th December of 2004, geography changed in the North of Sumatra.

The huge earthquake and following tsunami displaced the Simeulue Island, moving all the coral reefs in the north of the island up of the water. We estimated an uplift of about 1.5m of the entire island.
